We could not have a lessons program without our lesson horses. They have been carefully selected to fit a variety of riding levels. We are hoping to add a few additional lesson horses in the next year, so keep an eye on this page for updates on incoming horses!

Unity is a bay Morgan in her late twenties. She is owned by our lesson instructor, Chantelle! Chantelle used Unity for dressage and drill team before she became a lesson horse. Despite her age, Unity loves to carry kids around and has introduced many children to riding.

Alice is a bay Thoroughbred mare in her late teens. She was initially a racehorse before retiring from racing. Alice was purchased by a former boarder and used for English riding for several years before the barn purchased her as a lesson horse. Alice is full of personality and loves teaching kids about horses.

Squeeze is a bay Quarter Horse in his twenties. When he was younger, he was used as barrel and all around western horse. Squeeze has been enjoying some time off this past year, but we are hoping to bring him back into our lesson program for some of our intermediate riders.

Butterscotch is a sorrel tobiano miniature horse. She has the distinction of being the smallest horse on the property! While most miniature horses and ponies have the reputation of being naughty, Butterscotch is very sweet and quiet. She is retired from giving any kind of riding or driving lessons at this time, but she does a great job of introducing little kids to horses when the normal horses are a bit too big.
